Linda’s career includes fourteen years at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in the Equity Derivatives Group. During her tenure at GS, her responsibilities included trading stock options, selling derivatives to a wide variety of institutional clients and managing the derivative sales team for North America. In addition, she built and led a derivative strategy team that leveraged equity research to generate and publish trading ideas for the institutional client base.
In 2004, Linda joined UBS as a Managing Director, co-managing the Prime Brokerage Sales effort within the Prime Services Group. There she cultivated relationships, initiated new business and led the accounts of several of the firm’s most important hedge fund clients.
After her departure from UBS in 2008, she joined SAC Capital as a Derivative Strategist to work with the Long/Short Portfolio Managers. She identified opportunities in the options markets and executed trades on behalf of the various portfolios. She departed from SAC in June 2012 to launch her career as an executive recruiter.
Now the Founding Partner of Sage Search Advisors, Linda brings her deep industry knowledge and experience as a line producer, hiring manager, business builder and investment professional to the search process. She is uniquely qualified to partner with clients to help identify, assess and recruit top talent.
Linda graduated with an MBA in finance from Columbia University and as Phi Beta Kappa, with a BA in Economics from Emory University. She serves on the Board of Trustees at King, a school located in Stamford, CT. She resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband and two children.
Gerry Mintz is an experienced senior operating executive and advisor. He has a proven track record of accelerating revenue and profit growth for B2B information services and enterprise software companies, particularly in the financial services industry. He has successfully grown global businesses both organically and via acquisition, and has worked with a wide range of companies, including large public and private companies, mid-market firms, and startups. He has extensive experience working with venture capital and private equity firms and their portfolio companies and is also a seasoned Corporate Director, having served on the boards of both private and public corporations.
In late 2010, Gerry set up Percepta Partners LLC, an Advisory firm focused on helping information/software businesses develop and implement effective product/market growth strategies. From 2005 to 2010, Gerry was CEO of PerTrac Financial Solutions, the leading global asset allocation and investment analysis solution for hedge fund investment. Before PerTrac, he held divisional President/CEO responsibilities at several companies, including Reuters, Thomson Financial, and Gartner. He was also Chairman & CEO of FAME Information Services, a PE-backed enterprise software and services business serving the financial, energy and economic analysis sectors.
Gerry earned both a PhD and Masters in Electrical Engineering (Biomedical) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
Ed Vartughian is a seasoned finance professional with over 13 years of extensive front-line equity derivatives trading experience. Most recently he was Co-Head of Institutional Equity Derivatives at Oppenheimer & Company, where he established and directed all facets of the business including maintenance of customer relationships, strategy generation and trading and risk management. He previously held a long tenure at Banc of America Securities where he oversaw all volatility trading within the technology sector. Ed has also had senior trading positions at several other financial services firms including ABN AMRO and SG Cowen.
Ed earned an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Binghamton University School of Management.
